An Overview of the Air Floating System
It is an auxiliary device that arranges various types of air floating modules, floats the target glass without touching and transfers it with great stability and considerable precision(Separate glass feed drive required.).
Advantages of the Air Floating System
A target glass is lifted and transported in a contactless way that could both make a high-quality floating system and do no damage to glass.
Advantages of Porous Ceramics
In porous ceramic materials, fine pores(2 to 12 μm) are uniformly distributed. If air is blown out into numerous micro-holes, the target glass is floated uniformly and stably. Comparing it with the orifice type, the air consumption is supposed to be reduced.
And porous ceramic materials are harder and stronger than Carbon materials that scratches and breakage can be significantly diminished.
Class 10 level is achieved!
Porous ceramic materials are completely sintered and they reduce contamination caused by dust.
Advantages of Anti-static Ceramics
Anti-static ceramic materials are electricity-insulating and anti-static materials so they can be a solution to the conduction of the electric current.
As the surface resistance of them is from 105 to 109Ω/cm, they can prevent the generation of static electricity.
The composite of Al2O3 and SiC can be used to control electrical resistance. Besides, the materials can have the improved mechanical properties, for example, the strength of Al2O3 and the hardness SiC.
The Color of Porous Ceramic
The porous ceramic material has a color close to black, and It has lower light-scattering and light-reflectance. So it can be used for inspection devices and other equipments of a similar kind
The Spec of Porous Ceramics of MAX TECH
Two Types of Air Floating System
Simple Floating System(MFS series)
- By supplying air to the floating module, positive pressure floats the target glass.
- Suitable for a simple transfer.
Precise Floating System(MFSP series)
- When air is supplied to the floating module, a composite structure of positive and negative pressure(pre-loaded) is supposed to be formed. Then bi-directional stiffness of the target glass functions as flattening agents.
- Suitable for a precise-processing transfer, ex., inspection devices, ink-jet printers, etc..
